Overview
Magento 2 UI library utilizes a handful of predefined variables for breakpoints. While this is extremely helpful, there are times when additional breakpoints are needed. Specifically, when dealing with third-party extensions that implement breakpoints unique to their own needs.
If you find you need a media query other than the out-of-the-box breakpoints Magento provides, it’s best to follow the proper steps to create your own. It’s important to use the mixin that Magento 2 provides rather than adding a media query via CSS:

I seem to have dubbed myself the tour guide on the Road to Imagine. I have set out to ensure that you get the most out of your experience by being prepared, focused and ready to engage. April is probably the absolute best time to be heading to Vegas because it is before the temperatures really start heating up. On average you will see a high of 78 degrees and an average low of 51 degrees, allowing your stay to be comfortable. I do suggest bringing along a wind breaker or light jacket if you will be hitting the strip at night, it tends to be a little breezy.

In February of 2018, Magento released Magento 2.2.3, while also providing a roadmap for where the future leads. Before I put us on the road to the future, I thought a quick recap of the benefits of Magento 2.2.2 would be a good idea.
First Stop 2.2.2
Magento Commerce 2.2.2 greatly improved efficiency and helps to accelerate sales growth. The new features offer merchants improved insight into their online business and streamline the customer experience. Some of the improvements included:
- Advanced Reporting that provides access to a suite of dynamic reports based on your product, order, and customer data, with a personalized dashboard. The default module is a step towards better reporting, but Magento will need a few more iterations to get it up to speed with third-party reporting
- Signifyd: An integrated feature that immediately reviews an order in real-time to determine whether it’s a legitimate customer or fraudulent purchase attempt.

The second I confirm my registration for Imagine, I start thinking about the swag (stuff we all get). The freebies, trinkets and promotional materials that once made me purchase a second suitcase just to get everything home. I must admit, there is always a moment at Imagine when I feel like a hoarder. Besides the free pens and sticky notes, Imagine often provides some very unique SWAG, that over the years has made my day. Influencer marketing, once thought to be just a hot buzzword, is proving to be a force to be reckoned with in 2018. Our second trend for social media in 2018 is Instagram Stories. Instagram’s popularity has been growing steadily since it first debuted back in 2010. As of September 2017, the mainly mobile photo sharing network had reached 800 million monthly active users, up from 600 million in December 2016. The app is one of the most popular social networks worldwide, it’s currently the second most popular social media network in the world, behind only Facebook (unless you count YouTube), and marketers are falling more in love with the platform.
