We are seeking a junior Magento Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quick learning, and has a positive attitude. As a junior backend developer at ParadoxLabs, you will leverage your knowledge of core coding concepts such as MVC and apply it to learning Magento. You will be responsible for working in a support role and ensuring sites are functioning as required / expected.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Magento client sites
- Support extension customers
- Document common issues, processes, and integrations of client sites
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Detail-oriented
- Understanding of common coding concepts
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented PHP
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to work independently – this strictly a remote/work-from-home position
- Familiarity with JavaScript, SQL, and version control a plus
